Joe Balich, president and founder of Meridian DesignBuild, ltd gained much of his experience in both historical renovations and residential remodeling in the Boston area. Beginning his career in 1978, Joe started as a carpenter, supervisor and then Project manager before obtaining his Massachusetts Contractors license. In New England, Mr. Balich focused his attention on high-valued homes and creative projects that he is still proud of today. Joe relocated to the thriving Charlotte market in 1990. With a strong belief of the importance of certifications and state lessening as an indicator of responsibility, Joe earned his North Carolina Residential General Contractors license in 1992 in addition to his Massachusetts state license. As a firm believer in accountability, Joe has been a member of the National Association of Remodeling industry since the early 1990’s and has served as the President of that association in 1998 & 1999. Joe Balich still views each project as he did almost 30 years ago when he entered into the industry. That is to provide the highest quality project using his years of experience and operating his company in the most professional manner possible.
